About Almoe Group and Why Standardising HR Across 10 Divisions Required More Than Off-the-Shelf Software
Founded in 1994, Almoe Group has grown from a modest office automation company into one of the MENA region's most respected AV and IT enterprises. Over three decades, the group has built a portfolio of ten distinct business divisions covering AV distribution, system integration, live production, EdTech, eCommerce and regional operations across the UAE, India, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Kenya. Their projects include AV installations at Madinat Jumeirah, Meydan Racecourse and some of the region's most demanding enterprise and education environments.
Managing HR across a group of this size and diversity is genuinely complex. Each division operates as its own business with its own team, its own reporting structure and, in many cases, its own operational calendar and employment terms. At the same time, the central HR and leadership team needed a single view of headcount, leave, payroll and employee data across every entity without having to collate information from ten separate systems or spreadsheets.
Almoe approached TrueBays to implement HR and payroll software across all ten divisions simultaneously, with an Employee Self-Service portal for the group's workforce and customised leave policies and employee master data fields configured to match how Almoe actually manages its people, not the other way around.
