The HR Challenges Facing a Multi-Branch Restaurant in the UAE

Managing a growing restaurant workforce across multiple UAE locations presented Bait Maryam with three critical operational problems:

1. Inconsistent Attendance Tracking: Without automated biometric integration, attendance data was collected manually at each branch and consolidated at the end of the month. Errors and discrepancies were common, leading to payroll disputes and wasted time on reconciliation.

2. No Standardized Performance Management: Each branch manager handled employee appraisals differently. There was no unified system to set KPIs, track performance over time, or run structured appraisal cycles, making it difficult to identify top performers or manage underperformance consistently.
