Why Managing HR Across Multiple Group Companies in the UAE Is a Complex Problem

Running HR and payroll for a group of companies — even relatively small ones — creates a specific set of problems that single-company HR tools are not designed to solve. Proofbind was dealing with four clear challenges:

1. Separate Payrolls Required Per Company: Yellow Zone, Wrap Zone, and Allure are legally distinct entities in the UAE — each registered separately and each required to process payroll and WPS salary transfers independently. Managing this across three separate spreadsheets or standalone tools created duplication, inconsistency, and a high risk of errors at each pay cycle.

2. End-of-Service Benefits Needed Tracking Per Entity: UAE labour law requires end-of-service gratuity calculations based on each employee's length of service and salary history with their specific employer entity — not the group as a whole. Without a dedicated end-of-service benefits module, calculating accurate final settlements for employees across three companies was a manual, time-consuming process with significant compliance risk.

3. No Centralised Employee Visibility Across the Group: The owner and central HR function had no single view of all employees across all three companies.
